The Vice President, Corporate Development is responsible for identifying, sourcing, structuring and leading the execution of M&A deals, joint ventures and other strategic investments. Reporting directly to the Chief Corporate Development and Strategy Officer, this role evaluates growth opportunities, conducts financial analysis, and assists on purchase agreement negotiations. The VP serves as the lead point of contact for cross‑functional planning, due diligence, and integration teams, interacting directly with the CEO, CFO, and Business Unit Presidents. This position is part of the CEO’s Global Leadership Team (GLT). The role offers flexibility to work remotely two days a week; otherwise, it is based in our global headquarters in Midtown (not fully remote). Immigration sponsorship is not offered.

What You’ll Do

Work with Business Units and Market Leaders to identify and map strategic opportunities for inorganic growth, gathering local market information, competitor positioning, and business trends.

Assess acquisition candidates for strategic fit and financial attractiveness through discussions with Business Unit personnel and target management, supplemented by financial analyses.

Direct financial modeling and business valuations to determine the impact on Equifax.

Lead the development of M&A presentations and present to company leaders.

Build and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs, PE firms, VCs, investment banks, financial institutions and consulting firms to create a strong M&A pipeline.

Coordinate with Legal on acquisition documents such as NDAs, LOIs and Purchase Agreements.

Provide end‑to‑end deal management, ensuring strategic, operational and organizational alignment.

Lead due diligence with cross‑functional teams and document findings.

Assist with negotiation of Purchase Agreements and participate as appropriate.

Support integration activities after purchase.

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Business (Finance) or related field.

10+ years of deep M&A experience in corporate development, investment banking or private equity.

Proven success in leading due diligence in a fast‑paced environment.

Prior negotiation and deal‑structuring experience.

Track record of building strong pipelines.

Principal mindset with total deal ownership.

Strategic thinker who partners with Market Leaders on inorganic growth opportunities.

Relationship builder capable of engaging leadership of potential targets.

Experience navigating matrixed, global environments.

Senior executive presence with strong influencing and collaboration skills.

Excellent organization and prioritization abilities.

Strong analytical skills.

Self‑starter and team player able to achieve objectives alongside senior leaders.

What Sets You Apart

MBA or other postgraduate degree.

Experience in FinTech, Data & Analytics, AI or related technology sectors.

Domestic and international M&A strategy and execution experience.
