Position Overview & Responsibilities for the Network Architect
Lead the documentation of functional and technical requirements, architecture, design, and development using tools like Visio and MS PowerPoint. Troubleshoot and manage Routing and Switching technologies, including Cisco Nexus, Meraki, and Cisco ASR/ISR. Handle Palo Alto networks, firewalls, and Panorama, ensuring robust network security. Design and manage datacenter networks with technologies such as VXLAN EVPN, VRF, VPC, and Nexus dashboard. Collaborate heavily with teams in Dallas, TX, and NW Georgia, ensuring seamless network operations. Required Skills for the Network Architect
8+ years of relevant experience in network architecture and design. Expertise in complex routing topologies, specifically BGP and EIGRP protocols. Proficiency in datacenter networking, particularly with Cisco Nexus platforms. Cisco Network Professional Certifications - CCNP or higher required. Strong prior experience with Palo Alto.
