Aerial Saw Pilot
Position Overview
Our company is seeking highly skilled and experienced MD500 pilots with long‑line expertise and a demonstrated commitment to safety. The successful candidate will perform aerial saw operations while adhering to the highest standards of operational excellence and regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
Safely operate MD500 helicopters in low‑level wire environments conducting aerial saw operations.
Execute external load operations in complex wire environments with accuracy and efficiency.
Collaborate effectively with ground crews to ensure seamless project execution.
Required Qualifications
Current FAA Commercial Rotorcraft‑Helicopter Certificate
Current FAA Class I or II Medical Certificate
Minimum of 2,000 total helicopter flight hours
Proven external load experience, including at least 200 hours operating in wire environments
Demonstrated experience operating MD500 helicopters
Ability to successfully complete a company interview and checkride
Pass a pre‑employment drug screening
Pass comprehensive pre‑employment background checks, including criminal and driving record reviews
Preferred Qualifications
Current Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certificate or documented flight instruction experience
Previous experience in utility operations or aerial saw operations
