What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Maintain core infrastructure by writing software to automate application deployment and manage critical services
Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues as an on-call engineer, participating in post-mortems to improve reliability
Design, implement, and deploy internal tools to enhance productivity for the Engineering team
Manage server hardware in physical data centers, including potential travel for onsite projects
Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing
What is Required (Qualifications):
Minimum of 6 years of experience developing reliable production-grade software in Java, Go, or similar languages
Extensive experience with running and troubleshooting modern Linux systems and services in production
Proficiency with at least one automation technology such as Terraform, Chef, or Puppet
Experience designing and deploying complex distributed systems
A BS or MS in Computer Science or an Engineering field, or equivalent professional experience
