About the Position: The Data Analyst designs scalable data pipelines and models, integrates diverse data sources, and optimizes database performance. They work with clients and teams to deliver analytical solutions, applying statistical and machine learning techniques to generate insights and guide data-driven decisions. Specific responsibilities may include:
Develop and maintain processes to efficiently collect, transform, and manage data for analysis and reporting
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure the integration of diverse data sources
Design and implement data models, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity
Optimize database systems for performance and scalability
Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to analyze complex datasets and extract meaningful insights
Develop predictive models and algorithms to support data-driven decision-making
Conduct exploratory data analysis and hypothesis testing to uncover patterns and trends
Collaborate with domain experts to translate business questions into analytical solutions
Assists with additional tasks and duties as needed to support the project team and business objectives
Required Qualifications:
Must be a U.S. citizen and meet all eligibility requirements to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance with SCI throughout employment
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
A minimum of one (1) year of professional experience in data analysis, data engineering, or data science, with demonstrated leadership in designing and implementing scalable analytics solutions.
Proficiency in Python, SQL, and or modern data analysis frameworks (e.g., Pandas, scikit-learn, Spark); including experience with data visualization and dashboarding tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Demonstrated experience with statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning techniques, with a track record of applying these methods to support strategic decision-making.
Excellent analytical, business, communication, decision-making, and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to work closely with cross-functional and domain-expert teams, translating complex business or intelligence questions into actionable, data-driven solutions.
Willingness to work full time (5 days a week) at client sites in the Washington metropolitan area; occasional travel outside of the Washington, D.C. area
Preferred Qualifications:
Active Secret clearance or higher (Top Secret or TS/SCI preferred)
Master's degree in a related related field
Experience supporting Department of War (DoW) projects/programs
Experience optimizing and managing large-scale databases for performance and scalability
Experience in creating strategies for developing systems and processes
SCRUM Master certification or demonstrated experience applying Agile methodologies in project delivery environments

Salary Range: The annual salary range for this position is $63,000.00-75,000.00. Your salary may vary within this range depending on a wide range of factors, including (but not limited to) your qualifications, skills, experience, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
