Summary We are seeking a highly experienced enterprise data architect to own and drive our company’s data architecture, model, master data governance and analytics platform. You will define the enterprise data model and entity relationships across our business systems (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, proprietary telemetry, and internal software), govern master data and metadata, lead the data lake/warehouse architecture (Snowflake), and develop enterprise reporting and analytics, leading a team to deliver actionable insights and visualizations for business decisions.

Responsibilities

Define, maintain and evolve the Enterprise Data Model and entity‑relationship architecture across all business systems.

Own master data governance: establish policies, definitions, data quality metrics and “golden data” for master entities.

Lead and manage the data lake / data warehouse architecture, primarily on Snowflake, and support data ingestion pipelines.

Stay at the forefront of AI, SQL and analytics technologies and embed AI‑SQL tools (e.g., Cortex) into the data platform.

Lead a team responsible for enterprise operational and financial reporting & analytics, building dashboards and ensuring data accuracy and scalability.

Partner cross‑functionally with business system owners, IT, data engineering, finance, sales and product leadership.

Enforce data governance, metadata management, lineage, usage tracking and compliance with GDPR, CCPA, SOX and other standards.

Define and monitor data quality, security, access controls and platform scalability, performance and reliability.

Provide thought leadership on data architecture best practices and promote a data‑driven culture across the company.

Develop roadmaps for data architecture, analytics platform evolution, cost control and performance optimization.

Qualifications

10–15+ years’ experience in data architecture or enterprise data management.

Proven experience working in a SaaS or high‑growth tech company.

Deep experience with enterprise data models across multiple domains (customer, product, usage, finance, operations).

Hands‑on and strategic experience with Snowflake and data lake/warehouse platforms.

Experience ingesting and integrating data from Salesforce, NetSuite, Atlassian tools, and product telemetry.

Strong mastery of master data management, metadata management, data quality frameworks and data cataloging.

Expertise in analytics and visualization leadership: enterprise reporting, dashboards, KPI frameworks.

Experience evaluating and deploying AI/SQL tools and working with data science teams.

Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science or related field (Master’s preferred). Relevant certifications (CDMP, TOGAF, Snowflake) are a plus.

Strong understanding of security, compliance and data governance in enterprise contexts.

$197,000 – $252,000 a year
