Who is WRT? W Racing Team, known as Team WRT, is a professional autosport racing team, founded in 2009 and headquartered in Bierset.
Apart from running various international race programs, WRT is also known as manufacturer through its subsidiary, WRT Manufacturing which develops roll cages and chassis reinforcement for several of the world’s largest works motorsport programs, including the complete build of all some race cars

The duties of the WRT Performance Controls Systems Engineer will include:
Being trackside as an integral part of the track engineering group
Optimizing vehicle controls and strategies such as energy management, brake balance, driver settings, etc. in collaboration with the different departments and specialists from BMW Motorsport and WRT.
Constantly following the vehicle legality and performance window, proposing actions and corrections
Participating in all DIL sessions, making sure all inputs and presets are correctly set and adapted
Participating in workflow improvements between the performance, controls and systems departments and providing preset matrix to the system engineers
Candidates shall be motivated to reach goals and objectives and promote high-standards, quality of service and team spirit in the WRT workforce.
The WRT Performance Controls Systems Engineer should have thefollowing desired profile:
Professional knowledge of software developments tools such as Matlab, Simulink, Spotfire, PowerBi…
High proficiency with data analysis tools, preferably Wintax4
Aat least 3 years’ experience in a similar position in Hypercar/GTP, Formula1, Formula E, WRC…
High analytical skills and methods
Hands on approach with a flexible “Can Do” & “Will Do” attitude
Flexible with workload and tight deadlines
Knowledge of languages, English written and spoken a must, French and German will be considered as a bonus
Pro‑active problem solver
