Senior Software Engineer Technology San Francisco, CA (5 days on-site) $200,000 – $250,000 + equity The Company: We’re working with a fast-growing early-stage startup based in San Francisco that is redefining how talent and teams connect through AI-driven, data-backed software. Founded recently and scaling rapidly, the company blends a high-performance network of professionals with proprietary tooling to deliver a modern, scalable hiring and talent-matching experience. Backed by top investors and experienced founders, the team partners with leading technology companies to solve one of the hardest problems in tech: making hiring faster, fairer, and more effective at scale. They are a leader in the market and are partnered with top-tier growing startups to help them grow their teams. The Role: We’re looking for a Product‑Minded Software Engineer to join a high‑ownership, high‑impact engineering team. You’ll own feature development end‑to‑end, shape product experience, and directly impact customer outcomes. Work closely with Product, Design, and Operations to ship quickly, iterate on feedback, and build internal and external tooling used daily by recruiters and hiring teams. This role offers strong leadership potential and the chance to grow into product or engineering leadership. This is a unique opportunity for an engineer with both a strong educational background and experience in companies with a high standard for engineers to make a strong impact in a growing organization. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement product features used by recruiters and hiring teams Own full‑stack development from backend services to polished frontend UX Talk regularly with customers and internal users to inform product decisions Build internal tooling such as AI note‑takers, Chrome extensions, and workflow automations Develop integrations with third‑party systems and partner platforms Contribute to growth infrastructure: onboarding, activation, billing, and SEO Explore and help expand into verticals like legal, finance, and healthcare Skills & Experience: 3–7 years of full‑stack engineering experience Strong product intuition and user empathy with a focus on high‑quality UX Comfortable working across backend, frontend, and infrastructure components History of ownership in fast‑paced, startup environments Strong communicator and collaborative teammate Detail‑oriented and delivery‑focused Proficiency with: Node.js, Python, React, TypeScript, SQL and NoSQL databases, and modern deployment platforms (e.g., Vercel) The Benefits: This role offers a competitive base salary of $200,000 – $250,000 plus equity (company‑standard grants), on‑site benefits at the San Francisco office, and the opportunity to join a company scaling quickly with significant product and market impact.
