REYNOLDS AMERICAN has an exciting opportunity for a Director Strategic Accounts – RYDE RYDE is a cutting-edge wellness and stimulation shot, designed for those who live fast, push limits, and demand more from their functional beverage solutions. As a rapidly growing startup, RYDE has successfully launched on Amazon, secured key retail partnerships in the retail space, and is looking to expand its footprint nationally.

The Director Strategic Accounts – RYDE will have full responsibility for driving the brand’s national expansion across the U.S. This individual will be responsible for end-to-end account management for the category, including identifying, securing, and growing our portfolio of beverage retailers, distributors, and food service accounts. In partnership with Marketing, this position holder will shape go-to-market strategies, amplify our market reach across multiple accounts, and drive sustainable revenue growth.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Cultivate and manage high-impact critical account relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and achievement of ambitious growth targets through strategic planning

Manage customer P&L from above and below the line, ensuring margin delivery is congruent with Ryde: Financial Targets

Lead the development of channel strategies focused on delivering Trade Financials through increased volume and market share

Co-create joint business plans with top-tier partners and internal stakeholders to unlock volume, drive sales, visibility, and profitability

Leverage data-driven insights to guide account performance, and deliver tailored education and coaching focused on growth, upselling, and cross-selling to customers

Lead cross-functional efforts with Trade Marketing and field execution teams to ensure flawless retail activation and alignment with account strategies

Prospect, pitch, and secure new accounts within the beverage category across grocery, convenience, on-premises, and emerging channels

Negotiate favorable distribution agreements, pricing, and promotional strategies that drive sustainable growth

Build and maintain a robust pipeline of high-value opportunities, consistently exceeding acquisition and revenue targets.

Partner with sales leadership to refine national go-to-market strategies and channel prioritisation

Provide market insights and competitive intelligence to inform brand, pricing, and promotional decisions

Lead cross-functional collaboration across Marketing, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction

What are we looking for?

5+ years of sales leadership or end-to-end account management experience in the beverage or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry

Proven track record of managing key accounts and driving revenue growth

Strong new business development experience with established industry networks

Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills

Strong analytical acumen with ability to interpret data and translate into actionable insights

Self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset, able to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA a plus)

Paid Leave:
