P OSITION OVERVIEW The Facilities Operations Manager plays a critical role in overseeing and managing the repairs & maintenance of new and existing facilities for the company. This role requires a blend of repair and renovation project management, facility management, and leadership skills to ensure that the facilities meet the company's standards for safety, functionality, and aesthetics.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate with the Operations, Real Estate and Design + Development Team to ensure all facilities are clean and maintained according to S+B standards and procedures across all regions (NY, CA, TX, PA, IL, FL).
Ensure timely response/completion for all repair service calls and PM visits while in constant communication with both store and region management.
Evaluate repair work orders and execute standardized protocols, obtaining bids for major repairs from S+B’s vendor network.
Collect, review and approve bids/reports from PM vendors (Cleaning, HVAC, Pest Control, Snow Removal…etc.) across the entire retail portfolio (40+ Locations).
Closeout work orders and facilitate payments by collecting invoices/W9s and complete processing internally for all payments.
Set up and manage select technology for new and existing locations.
Assist in new store construction by carrying out administration & coordination tasks for preventative maintenance and cleaning.
Oversee emergency response situations related to safety & security.
This position may require occasional travel to various SUGARED + BRONZED locations, but involves mostly remote troubleshooting.
REQUIREMENTS
2-5 years of experience in a retail store maintenance environment or an associated trade.
Knowledge of maintenance softwares (ex. ServiceChannel, OpenWrench, etc).
Proficient in G Suite (Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms and Gmail).
Someone interested in growth + internal development.
Must be a self starter.
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn, understand, and communicate the S+B brand standards to the physical in-store teams and external subcontractors and managers.
A great written + verbal communicator (internally and externally).
