Description: We are seeking an experienced
Project Manager
to oversee and manage complex architectural woodwork projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of high‑end architectural millwork processes, materials, and production methods. This role requires precision, accountability, and the ability to coordinate multiple project components efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all phases of architectural millwork projects, from planning and budgeting to installation and close‑out.
Coordinate with architects, general contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure accuracy and adherence to specifications.
Review and interpret architectural drawings and shop drawings.
Monitor schedules, budgets, and project documentation through Procore and Sage.
Identify and resolve issues proactively to maintain project timelines and quality standards.
Maintain meticulous attention to detail—errors are costly and must be avoided through diligent oversight.
Requirements:
Minimum
10 years of hands‑on experience
managing architectural millwork projects.
Proven ability to independently run complex, custom woodwork projects.
Proficiency with
Procore
(project management) and
Sage
(accounting).
Must be
local to Long Island, NY
– no relocation available.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Must be ready to contribute immediately; this is not an entry‑level position.
