Safely operate forklift to retrieve large material such as aluminum and stainless-steel bars, sheet, and plate. Measure material for accuracy using tape measure, fractions, and decimals.
Role & Responsibilities:
Schedule - Monday - Friday 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM Safely operate forklift. Verify counts, weights, and measurements of material. Comfortable with using a computer for order entry. Prepare and affix shipping labels accurately identifying shipping information. Assemble wood or cardboard containers for shipping material. Ability to work with quality inspection tools including micrometers and calipers and perform basic dimensional tolerances. Work directly with the Warehouse Supervisor to ensure customer requirements are met. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Requirements
Ability to use tape measures, and perform math calculations, including fractions and decimals. Ability to safely operate forklift. Ability to read and write English. Ability to stand, sit, bend, stoop, and stretch. Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Familiar with basic computer systems. Minimum 18 years of age.
