Pharmacy Technician - Part Time - COMPASS Pharmacy - Macon, GA
Maxor National Pharmacy Services Corporation is seeking a PRN, highly competent, customer service oriented Registered Pharmacy Technician to work in our fast-paced, clinic-based pharmacy located in Macon. Qualified Pharmacy Clerks will be considered.
Since 1985,
HOPE Center , the Ryan White-Funded HIV/AIDS clinic serving North Central Health District's 13 counties, has been providing care under the medical direction of world-renowned infectious disease doctors and spearheading new approaches to HIV/AIDS care. The center serves those living and affected by HIV/AIDS, providing a comprehensive, personalized approach to treatment that includes medical services, behavioral health services, peer counseling and assistance with housing, transportation and finances.
Established in 2019, COMPASS Pharmacy specializes in HIV/AIDS, hepatitis and pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP). Though the pharmacy is focused on these services, COMPASS remains a full-service pharmacy open to the public, designed to serve the community by offering pick-up, delivery and mail-order services.
Hours needed are usually Mon-Fri 9am-2pm and to cover for PTO
New location is 3920 Arkwright Rd, Suite 415, Macon, GA
Responsibilities
The successful candidate must demonstrate mastery of the following skills/traits: Attention to detail, multi-tasking, initiative to work independently as well as cooperatively on a high achieving team, ability to develop problem-based solutions when faced with unexpected challenges, availability to work day shift, an openness to and acceptance of constructive feedback, and a sincere desire for continuous professional growth. Provide compassionate and attentive customer service Answer telephones expediently and courteously Operate POS and ring sales accurately Demonstrate proficiency, sensitivity, and a sense of urgency during all phone and on-site interactions Complete tasks in an organized, accurate and efficient manner Think and act proactively Demonstrate the utmost professionalism at all times Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
High School Diploma/GED required Georgia Pharmacy Technician license a plus Minimum of 1 year experience in retail pharmacy is preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to operate various pharmacy software programs/equipment proficiently.
