Business / Functional Analyst Risk Transformation Work Model

: Hybrid (50% on-site in Brussels / 50% remote) About the Role Join a transformation office within the Risk & Credits Tribe, where you will support the evolution of a centralized risk calculation infrastructure. This role is critical to enabling enhanced credit risk monitoring, reporting, and regulatory compliance through modernization and integration of risk systems. Key Responsibilities Analyze business requirements from Risk teams and translate them into detailed functional and technical specifications. Implement risk-related algorithms using C# (FACT). Write and optimize SQL queries (Sybase IQ, SQL Server, Oracle) for data analysis, testing, and reporting. Define data transformation and ETL rules and ensure proper documentation. Support testing phases (unit, integration, functional) and collaborate with technical teams for implementation. Contribute to enhancements in risk data architecture aligned with regulatory frameworks like Basel II/III and other credit-related initiatives. Your Profile Experience 6+ years in functional/business analysis and development in large-scale IT environments. Proven experience with C#, SQL, data/process analysis, and reporting tools. Technical Skills C# programming (FACT preferred) Advanced SQL (Sybase IQ, SQL Server, Oracle) XML/SOAP, ETL logic, and algorithm implementation Experience with testing and debugging Familiarity with MQ Series is a plus Domain Expertise Experience in credit risk, banking regulations (Basel II/III), or loan origination is advantageous. Understanding of complex business environments in financial services. Soft Skills Strong analytical and synthesis skills Team player with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes Languages Fluency in English is required. Working proficiency in either French or Dutch is mandatory.
