Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport and LSU Health Sciences Center – Shreveport are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Urologist to expand its full‑time clinical faculty. Must be BE/BC in Urology and eligible for a Louisiana license.
Responsibilities
Patient care.
Resident education.
Medical student education.
Clinical duties rotate among the tertiary Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport Academic Medical Center and two affiliated teaching institutions.
Use of da Vinci surgical systems, including a dual‑console unit, for patient care and resident training.
Participation in a fully accredited Urology Residency Training Program.
Qualifications Board Certified/Board Eligible in Urology; eligible for a Louisiana license.
Other Information Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport, in conjunction with Ochsner LSU Health St. Mary, is the only major academic medical center in the area and receives patients from a catchment area with a radius of approximately 75‑100 miles which includes a population of approximately 1½ million people.
