We're looking for a part‑time engineer to come build with us! You'll work across our entire tech stack—from frontend Next.js applications to Python microservices—shipping features that directly impact our customers. This is a high‑autonomy role where you'll own projects end‑to‑end, from design to deployment. Remote or in person in Brooklyn.
What You'll Do
Build and ship features across our Next.js web applications and FastAPI backend services
Design and implement new microservices in our event‑driven architecture
Integrate AI/ML capabilities using OpenAI and other modern tools
Work with our document processing pipeline (OCR, parsing, data extraction)
Own features from concept through deployment, including database schema design and API development
Debug production issues and optimize system performance
Collaborate directly with the founding team on product direction

What We're Looking For
1+ year of software engineering experience
Strong fundamentals in both frontend (React/TypeScript) and backend (Python or similar)
Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
Comfortable working in a startup: moving fast, wearing multiple hats, shipping iteratively
