Senior Business Analyst – 100% Remote (REF1695N)
The Senior Business Analyst (BA) plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business requirements and the technical solutions delivered by the development team. The BA is responsible for conveying the vision and goals at the beginning of every release and sprint, ensuring the team is aligned with the business objectives. This position requires active participation in Scrum meetings, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

Key Responsibilities
Communicate the value of work being delivered and the goal of the sprint in relation to overall business value
Participate actively in daily Scrums, Sprint Planning Meetings, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives to support, collaborate, and communicate critical updates
Inspect product progress during and at the end of sprints through BA reviews, facilitating timely feedback and corrections ahead of stakeholder testing
Answer implementation questions from the development team, based on the functionality delivered
Be readily available in team meetings, slack channels, emails, etc., to provide guidance and support
Provide input on test plans, highlighting edge cases outside of happy path testing to develop comprehensive end-to-end test coverage
Assist in writing and breaking down user stories into appropriately sized items for the development team, ensuring stories have well-formed acceptance criteria and a clear definition of done
Conduct technical elaborations
Ensure flawless execution on requirements, maintaining communication throughout each sprint to review progress, elevate issues, and validate technical delivery alignment with functional requirements
Create and maintain the development team product backlog
Hold recurring backlog refinement meetings with the development team to ensure the development work meets or adjusts as needed to deliver on the business need
Requirements
6+ years of healthcare or federal business analysis experience
Bachelor's degree
Prior experience facilitating User Acceptance Testing
Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
Ability to act as a liaison between the business and technical teams
Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work under pressure
