Responsibilities

Responsible for providing analytical support services to aid in planning and executing civilian pay. This includes maintaining key datasets in SQL Server database, providing ad hoc reporting, and developing interactive data visualizations.

Collaborate with an integrated team of data analysts, and data engineers, and web developers to understand business processes, develop analytical requirements, identify key data elements, adhere to data protection guidelines, and interpret and communicate analytic results Understand and analyze complex and organization-specific datasets to aid in planning and executing civilian pay Define and develop techniques to integrate, consolidate, and structure data for analytical use. Support the transformation of businesses process through automation Transform data and analysis into informative visualizations and interactive dashboards using open-source and commercially available visualization and dashboard tools Provide regular detailed reporting to management and customers Advise on the interpretation and use of data analysis products, dashboards, and reports to non-technical customers

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in data science, mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science, engineering, or other related business or quantitative discipline is required. Minimum 5 years in data analytics or related Preferred experience with data science methods related to data architecture, data munging, data and feature engineering, and predictive analytics. Experience working with programming languages like SQL and python (SQL required, python preferred) Experience developing dashboards using Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, RShiny, plotly, and d3.js Self-starter with the vision to independently identify opportunities for improvement through data analytics. A true team player who maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic environment. Excellent communication skills, written and oral Proven ability to work with business customers and technical teams Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously Excellent customer relationship management skills Innovative problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Ability to work on client site in the NCR in Washington, D.C This position requires an active security clearance at the TS/SCI level, polygraph preferred; US citizenship required.

Target salary range: $150,000 - $180,000. Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications.

The salary range displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation. Individual salaries are determined by various factors including, but not limited to location, internal equity, business considerations, client contract requirements, and candidate qualifications, such as education, experience, skills, and security clearances.
