The Practice The Ventura County Behavioral Health Department (VCBH) is an integrated component of the Ventura County Health Care Agency. VCBH provides mental health and substance use treatment services for individuals and families in crisis, those considering suicide, or those struggling with mental illness and/or substance use. VCBH promotes wellness through a whole‑person care approach, empowering clients and families with accessible, timely, culturally sensitive, and collaborative behavioral health services.
Responsibilities
40 hours of coverage each week
Flexible 8 or 10 hour days
Adult caseload of 300 patients
Adult intake 60 minutes; follow ups 30 minutes
On‑site schedule in Santa Paula, CA
EMR – SmartCare
Serves county‑based chronic patients
Spanish speaking preferred
Accepts and works with H1B and J1 Visa holders
