We are looking for a compassionate, board‑eligible or board‑certified pediatric endocrinologist to join the team at Randall Children’s Hospital at Legacy Emanuel. The role is full‑time and involves both inpatient and outpatient care, with opportunities for clinical research, teaching, and leadership.
You will provide comprehensive medical and surgical services in an established clinic, forging relationships with staff and delivering expert care to patients with diabetes and endocrine disorders. The pediatric diabetes and endocrine center serves over 2,500 patients from Oregon and Southwest Washington and includes five diabetes educators, a social worker, a dedicated pediatric endocrine nurse, and a behavioral health clinician.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering inpatient and outpatient pediatric endocrine care, including diabetes management.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and support staff to provide coordinated, patient‑centered services.
Participating in clinical research studies and educational activities.
Engaging in signature programs such as pediatric weight management and a comprehensive transgender program.
Contributing to outreach efforts in multiple clinics across Oregon and Southwest Washington.
Qualifications
M.D. graduate of a U.S. four‑year accredited medical school or equivalent.
Completion of a residency in pediatrics.
Board eligible/certified in pediatrics and pediatric endocrinology.
Unrestricted medical license in the applicable state.
Current PEARs and NRP certificates from the American Heart Association.
