Pediatric Academic Nephrologist
Applications are invited for a full‑time/part‑time faculty position as an Academic Nephrologist in the Department of Pediatrics at Albany Med Health System and Albany Medical College. The role is to join a vigorous clinical program focused on the diagnosis and care of children with kidney disease. The successful applicant will be the second or third member of the division, oversee the onsite Pediatric Dialysis Unit, and contribute to our multispecialty outpatient pediatrics program.
Responsibilities
Provide clinical care to children with kidney diseases, including dialysis and transplant coordination. Lead the Pediatric Dialysis Unit and coordinate multidisciplinary and satellite clinics. Teach house staff, medical students, and provide academic support within Albany Medical College. Collaborate with the pediatric urology division, transplant surgery program, and interventional radiology. Qualifications
Board‑certified or board‑eligible Pediatric Nephrologist. Experience in clinical nephrology and/or dialysis preferred. Strong teaching and academic commitment. Location
