Essentia Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide family medicine care at our Park Rapids Clinic. The position is part‑time (0.8 FTE) and includes coverage in the Walk‑In Care setting as needed.
Base Pay Range $55.00/hr – $78.00/hr
Job Description Utilize advanced health assessment, knowledge, and decision‑making skills to provide care to individuals and families, emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. Work independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health‑care professionals. Care for patients ranging from newborn to elderly.
Responsibilities
Provide primary care to patients of all ages (full scope practice).
See 14–20 patients per day.
Coordinate and collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health‑care professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
Participate in the Park Rapids Walk‑In Care setting as needed.
Offer outreach to neighboring Walker and Menahga Clinics to assist with coverage.
Qualifications
2+ years of advanced practice experience.
Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nurse Practitioner program or Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Physician Assistant program from an accredited institution.
Current licensure as a registered nurse and as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in the applicable state.
Current CPR certification.
National certification in an applicable area.
Successful completion of Essentia Health credentialing process prior to practice.
Preferred: certification in weight management; experience in internal medicine/geriatric medicine.
Salaries may include bonuses, quality incentives, or production‑based compensation.
