Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in Bronx, NY is expanding its clinical program in diabetes, obesity and metabolism and seeks to add highly qualified endocrinologists for an academic position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the clinician educator track. Responsibilities include clinical care in the endocrinology/diabetes faculty practice, with a special focus in the Supporting Emerging Adults with Diabetes (SEAD) program for young adults with type 1 diabetes. There are also opportunities to participate in a robust multidisciplinary clinical research lab, diabetes collaborative quality improvement and research networks, and fellow/medical student teaching. Qualifications
Completion of an ACGME approved endocrinology fellowship program and board certification in endocrinology (or board eligible for recent grads).
Interest in type 1 diabetes and/or young adults is especially encouraged.
Salary Range Assistant Professor - $195,000
Associate Professor - $220,000
In addition, based on our current compensation plan there is opportunity to earn additional revenue.
