Duties and Responsibilities
Loyola Medicine at Gottlieb Hospital invites applications for a full‑time gastroenterology hospitalist. Gottlieb Hospital is a community‑based hospital located in Melrose Park, IL with two anesthesia‑equipped GI suites. The ideal candidate will work in a 7‑day on/7‑day off hospitalist model. Advanced practice providers assist/perform inpatient rounding in the 150‑bed hospital. A GI Olympus upgrade project is currently underway. Enjoy working within a large Midwest academic medical center in a fast‑growing community. Interventional (EUS/ERCP) skills are not required. The candidate should be Board Eligible/Board Certified in Gastroenterology and possess an Illinois license at the time of appointment. MacNeal is a 374‑licensed‑bed teaching hospital in Berwyn with advanced medical, surgical and psychiatric services, acute rehabilitation, an inpatient skilled nursing facility and a 68‑bed behavioral health program and community clinics.
