Gastroenterology - Advanced Endoscopist / Therapeutic Endoscopy
Mount Sinai
is seeking outstanding candidates in the Division of Gastroenterology at Mount Sinai Morningside and Mount Sinai West to join our thriving inpatient and outpatient services. As a new member of the full‑time faculty, you will assume a primarily clinical role, performing 8 half‑day outpatient sessions per week, including 6 endoscopy sessions and 2 office hours. Clinic locations include the Mount Sinai Morningside Ambulatory Care Center, 425 W. 59th Street, 158 W. 124th Street, and endoscopy suites at Mount Sinai West, Mount Sinai Morningside, and Upper West Side Endoscopy (Ansonia). With time, you may also serve the Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs). Faculty appointment is at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, commensurate with experience, and offers a highly competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
Base pay range : $500,000.00/yr – $625,000.00/yr
Responsibilities
Perform advanced therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including ERCP, EUS and EUS‑guided interventions, EMR/ESD, Barrett’s ablation, stent placement, and other complex endoscopic procedures.
Provide comprehensive care for patients with complex gastrointestinal and hepatopancreatobiliary diseases.
Collaborate with surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, and other specialists in multidisciplinary case management.
Participate in clinical research, quality improvement, and program development.
Perform rigorous inpatient and outpatient GI assessments in a collaborative environment.
Serve as teaching faculty for the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellowship and Internal Medicine Residency programs.
Engage in peer review, lectures and presentations, and quality assurance initiatives.
Promote health maintenance, prevention, and patient advocacy.
Qualifications
Medical Degree from an accredited university.
New York State medical license.
Board certified in gastroenterology.
Demonstrated expertise in advanced endoscopic techniques and procedures.
Strong commitment to clinical excellence, education, and innovative patient care.
Dedication to serving diverse patient populations with a collaborative and team‑oriented approach.
Compensation Compensation range from $500,000 to $625,000 (not including bonuses or incentive compensation).
