Job Description
The University of Missouri's School of Medicine Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology is seeking a board‑certified/board‑eligible gastroenterologist committed to clinical excellence and to medical education of our fellows. The position is specifically for outpatient and procedural lab coverage.
The GI division is home to faculty with expertise in nutrition, IBD, and therapeutic endoscopy. It offers a multidisciplinary team approach to all varieties of gastrointestinal disorders in collaborations with surgery, radiology, pathology, oncology, and surgical oncology.
Locations:
MU University Hospital
Harry S. Truman VA Hospital
Fairview Digestive Health Center
Out‑patient schedule: Monday‑Friday, split between clinic and procedural lab. An additional 0.5–1 administrative day provided.
All ranks available; non‑tenure track. Rank to be commensurate with experience.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
MD/DO, Board‑certified in gastroenterology.
Successful completion of an ACGME‑accredited GI fellowship.
Board‑certified/board‑eligible considered experienced.
Candidates will be evaluated on fellowships in the following areas:
IBD
Motility
General Endoscopy
