Your Expertise Matters
Fellowship trained in Reconstructive Microsurgery
Or at least 2 years of current experience in Microsurgery (DIEP Flap and Free Flap)
Practice Highlights Dynamic Team Environment
Collaborative team of 2 established physicians and 2 experienced advanced practitioners
Patient-centered practice culture with collegial relationships
Exceptional MA, RN, and hospital support staff
Surgical Excellence
State‑of‑the‑art SSM Health Surgery Center on campus of SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital‑Madison
Diverse case mix: 70 % reconstructive, 30 % cosmetic
Advanced procedures including breast reconstruction (DIEP required), cosmetic surgery, MOHS reconstruction, wound care, microvascular surgery
Manage 12‑15 patients daily in clinic with 3‑4 surgical cases on average
Balanced Call Schedule
Favorable 1:4 call rotation
Weeknights separate from weekends
Call taken only at the main hospital
Minimal evening calls; typically 1‑2 hours on‑site per weekend day unless surgical complications arise
Academic Affiliation
Teaching opportunities through UW plastic surgery residency program
