Data Scientist - Mid Vantor is forging the new frontier of spatial intelligence, helping decision makers and operators navigate what’s happening now and shape what’s coming next. We are looking for a U.S. Person to join our team of problem solvers, changemakers, and go-getters. Eligibility

is required. This position may be subject to U.S. export control laws. Applicants must meet all stated eligibility requirements. Responsibilities

Work in tandem with analysts to devise methods that tackle complex data sets, pattern identification, and visualizations. Perform research and implement forward‑looking analytic methodologies leveraging statistical techniques and pattern recognition. Assist analysts in developing structured approaches to predictive intelligence that increase timeliness and accuracy of assessments. Expand existing natural language processing to include new entities and improved visualizations. Research and implement approaches that enhance analytic tradecraft—supporting critical thinking, mitigating biases, and increasing analytic rigor. Support automation of structured analytic methods and workflows to boost repeatability and scalability of intelligence production. Contribute to the development and integration of semantic technologies, including ontologies and knowledge graphs, to support Object‑Based Intelligence standards. Design and build visualizations and dashboards that communicate complex data insights to technical and non‑technical audiences. Evaluate and optimize analytic performance using qualitative and quantitative metrics. Minimum Qualifications

U.S. citizenship with an active TS/SCI clearance and CI poly. Eight years of experience and an advanced degree; experience with Git and software development workflows. Demonstrated experience with Python, R, and SQL, including programmatic access to web services, data management, and visualization. Experience with statistical analysis and data mining algorithms. Knowledge of artificial intelligence, advanced analytics, cloud architecture, and data storage. Preferred Qualifications

Polished oral and written communication skills for original presentations and papers on abstract concepts. Familiarity with graph databases or graph data structures. Ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams on complex data science projects. Experience with AWS or similar cloud provider. Experience solving problems with structured and unstructured data. Application of statistical and data visualization skills. Strong problem‑solving skills for manipulating large data sets. Proven ability to learn and master new software, technologies, and techniques. Familiarity with generative AI and large language models (LLMs) and their strengths and weaknesses for intelligence requirements. Experience in at least two of the following: Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Apache Spark, Hadoop, R, C++, SQL Database/Coding, or visualization tools such as Tableau. Pay Transparency

The pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $113,000.00 - $188,000.00 annually. For other states, geographic cost of labor informs market‑driven ranges. Benefits
