Job Overview
An Aircraft Integration Technician 1 is responsible for assisting in the integration and installation of various systems and components into aircraft. They work closely with engineers and technicians to ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards.
Essential Functions
Assist with the installation and checkout of UAV electrical and electronic devices
Utilize hand and power tools during assembly and fabrication
Assist with utilizing multimeters and probes to conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics on equipment wiring
Assist with cable assembly and repairs
Provide assistance working on integration and fuselage/airframe portions of the UAV
Assist with the assembly of components including switches, electrical controls, and junction boxes
Follow work instructions and/or peer guidance on proper assembly
Perform other related duties as assigned
Standard Essential Functions
Regular and reliable attendance on a full‑time basis (or in accordance with posted schedule)

Qualifications and Competencies
Basic understanding of fundamental skills such as soldering, crimping, tool use, and frame assembly
Basic avionics and mechanical integration skills
Ability to follow guidance on tasks and work requirements
Ability to read and understand prints and layouts, or learn if not experienced
Effective verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work efficiently with team members, independently, and cross‑functionally
Ability to meet daily/weekly production goals with critical time schedules
Education / Certifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience
0–3 years of experience in a production and/or assembly environment
Experience working on integration and fuselage/airframe portions of UAV is a plus
