Shift Manager $14 to $16 role at McDonald's.

Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience on every visit. A Shift Manager provides leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to ensure great quality, service, and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

Plan each shift and monitor performance during the shift.

Take action to ensure the team meets McDonald’s standards.

Monitor safety, security, and profitability.

Communicate with the next Shift Manager to help prepare them for a great shift.

Meet shift and department targets.

Perform daily duties such as deposits, bank runs, handling customer complaints, giving crew breaks, and other tasks.

Food Safety - DAILY

Internal Communication – with crew and other management

Inventory Management – waste control, truck orders and delivery

Daily Maintenance and Cleanliness – dishes, trash, equipment cleaning and more

Managing Crew – giving breaks, handling discipline reasonably, proper uniform adherence

Quality Food Production – continuous food checks, HOT FAST PRETTY and SAFE

Exceptional Customer Service – Leave em Smiling!

Safety and Security – wet floor signs, back door control, money handling

Scheduling – day to day placement to creation of schedules weekly

Training – monitoring progress and proper behaviors at all times

Qualifications Previous leadership experience is preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Candidates must be 18 years or older.
