The Associate IPS Planning Engineer will build competence in IPS planning tasks and advance to the Associate level within a reasonable amount of time. The role involves communicating technical information, simulating patient surgeries, and assisting in the design of medical products.
Responsibilities
Learn and demonstrate knowledge of the complete product range of Individual Patient Solutions.
Communicate technical and engineering knowledge to the customer over phone calls, web meetings, and other meetings.
Complete engineering tasks for IPS cases.
Simulate surgical procedures and visualize pertinent information on web meetings.
Design and execute tests to simulate product use for verifying and validating product performance, reliability, and usability.
Participate in the creation and maintenance of files specific to each patient’s case.
Collaborate and coordinate between multiple departments: production, sales, marketing, and product management.
Qualifications
BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Bioengineering, Biomedical) or comparable technical/medical field.
Prior experience with 3D modeling software.
Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications.
Customer support skills.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to learn new software quickly and work independently under minimal supervision.
Critical thinking, problem solving, decision making, adaptability, and flexibility.
