Description UNC Boylan Healthcare at North Hills is seeking a full‑time primary care physician, BC/BE in Family Medicine. With a focus on preventive health care, they detect and modify risk factors before they lead to serious illness in adults 18 and older. We offer a wide range of convenient on‑site services, using the most advanced technology and equipment. They are recognized by the American Heart Association Heart/Stroke program and the American Diabetes Association Physician program. They have been caring for the people in our community for almost 50 years, building trusting relationships with their patients.

Services Provided Include

Acute illness care

Biopsies

Bone density scans

Cardiac stress testing

Gynecology

Immunizations

IV therapy

Laceration repair

Management of chronic health conditions

Medical acupuncture

Mole, wart and skin lesion removal

Physical exams

Pulmonary function testing

Nuclear treadmill testing

Nutrition

On‑site x‑rays

On‑site laboratory

Ultrasounds

ThermiSmooth and ThermiVa

Qualifications

Training from an accredited Family Medicine Program

Board Certified or Board Eligible

Active, unrestricted NC Medical License or the ability to obtain

Graduation from an accredited school of medicine.

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

DEA; ACLS; MD

Professional Experience Requirements:

Prefer prior experience.

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:

Language Skills: Should be able to communicate proficiently in English.

Reasoning Ability

High‑level quantitative and qualitative reason skills are essential in order to diagnose medical and clinical issues presented by patients.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

North Carolina Medical License, DEA License, BLS/ACLS certification preferred. Board certified in Family Medicine.
