Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled ELN (Electronic Lab Notebook) Engineer with expertise in implementing and configuring Benchling ELN to support digital transformation in R&D environments. The ideal candidate will work closely with scientists, IT teams, and business stakeholders to customize and optimize Benchling to meet user and functional requirements. Key Responsibilities: Implement and configure Benchling ELN to align with scientific workflows and business needs. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze user requirements. Design and customize templates, workflows, and data models within Benchling. Integrate Benchling ELN with other lab and enterprise systems as needed. Provide user training, documentation, and support. Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and manage system upgrades or enhancements. Ensure compliance with industry standards and data integrity regulations (e.g., GxP, 21 CFR Part 11). Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field. 3+ years of hands-on experience implementing and configuring Benchling ELN. Familiarity with scientific R&D workflows in biotech or pharmaceutical settings. Experience integrating ELNs with LIMS, SDMS, or other lab systems is a plus. Experience with APIs and data integration tools. Understanding of regulated environments and electronic recordkeeping compliance. Seniority level
