Position Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Network Specialist with hands-on experience in network equipment racking and wireless access point deployment. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in the physical setup, installation, and maintenance of network hardware and ensure optimal performance of wired and wireless network infrastructure across multiple locations. This position is a 2 month contract. Responsibilities: Rack, stack, and cable network hardware including switches, routers, firewalls, and patch panels in data centers or network closets Install and configure wireless access points (APs) including ceiling, wall, or pole-mounted installations Perform site surveys for wireless coverage and recommend optimal AP placement Label and document all cabling and equipment for proper network topology tracking Troubleshoot hardware and connectivity issues related to both wired and wireless networks Collaborate with network engineers on the rollout and expansion of network infrastructure Maintain and update inventory of network devices and deployment records Ensure compliance with safety and cabling standards during installation Provide on-site or remote support for moves, adds, and changes (MAC) to network equipment Assist in upgrading firmware and applying security patches to network hardware $20 - $22 an hour #J-18808-Ljbffr
