Our residential programs focus on strength‑based, trauma‑informed care designed to help youth thrive. We are seeking a dedicated Awake Overnight Residential Counselor to join our mission‑driven team and provide supervision, safety, and support during the overnight hours. The available shift is Friday and Saturday 10pm-8am. Why You’ll Love This Role: Work directly with youth in a residential setting while making a meaningful impact Join a collaborative, professional team focused on positive outcomes for residents Full‑time position with medical and dental benefits Play a critical role in maintaining a safe, nurturing, and structured overnight environment What You’ll Do: Provide direct supervision and ensure the safety of residents throughout the overnight shift Engage youth using the Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) Model Remain awake and alert for the duration of your shift Prepare meals and assist with daily household tasks and cleanliness Document resident progress, interventions, and incident reports using APRICOT Administer prescribed medications according to Plummer MAP Procedures Serve as the point of contact for overnight emergencies and program crises Attend staff meetings, supervision, trainings, and other professional development opportunities Demonstrate flexibility to meet the needs of the program, including adapting to schedule or milieu assignments What We’re Looking For: Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic, and sometimes stressful environment Commitment to the mission and values of Plummer Youth Promise Requirements: Valid Massachusetts driver’s license and acceptable driving history Ability to ascend/descend stairs, bend, reach, and lift up to 75 pounds Visual and hearing acuity to perform essential job functions Core Competencies: Communication: Clear, timely, and professional communication Conflict Management: Resolves conflicts constructively while maintaining confidentiality Initiative: Proactive, engaged, and creative in supporting residents and the program Self‑Awareness & Development: Open to feedback and committed to professional growth Teamwork: Collaborates effectively to achieve team objectives Quality Management: Strives for accuracy, thoroughness, and continuous improvement Why Join Us? 403(b) retirement plan Paid time off Training & development opportunities Wellness resources A mission‑driven culture where every youth deserves a family Make a Real Difference Overnight – Apply Today! #J-18808-Ljbffr
