Road-Con Inc. is hiring: Heavy Equipment Operator in New York

Location: Southeastern PA, South Jersey, Delaware Road-Con is looking for skilled Equipment Operators to join our team. As an Equipment Operator, you will have the opportunity to operate a variety of heavy construction equipment, including Excavators, Bulldozers, Drilling machines, Concrete pumps, Cranes, Rollers, Frontend Loaders, Backhoes, Pavers, Milling Machines and more, depending on job requirements. Key Responsibilities: Operate heavy construction equipment to excavate, move, and grade earth. Erect structural and reinforcing steel, pour concrete, and place asphalt. Work at heights and in various environmental conditions. Drive machines and control various equipment attachments such as drills, hammers, grapples, and sheers. Grease, inspect, and report mechanical issues prior to operating equipment. Comply with PA One Call requirements when working around public utilities. Adhere to safety protocols to ensure the safety of other employees and the public. Requirements: Experience operating heavy construction equipment. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks. Valid driver’s license (CDL and/or DOT medical card may be required). Flexibility to work daytime and nighttime shifts based on project demands. Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures. Preferred Qualifications: Previous experience in heavy construction or related fields. Knowledge of PA One Call requirements.
