Overview Heavy Equipment Operator – Loess Hills Landfill (Waste Connections) – Malvern, Iowa Pay Range: $22 – $26/hour Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with rotating Saturdays What You’ll Do Operating a variety of heavy equipment including bulldozers, wheel loaders, motor graders, scrapers, and compactors. Conducting routine inspections and basic maintenance to ensure equipment safety and performance. Promoting a culture of safety and environmental responsibility. Collaborating with customers and team members to resolve service issues in a safe and sustainable way. What We’re Looking For 2+ years of experience operating heavy equipment. Solid understanding of equipment operation and maintenance. Ability to read, follow, and enforce safety procedures. A proactive, safety-first mindset and strong communication skills.
