Director of IT

who will lead the modernization and strategic transformation of the company’s technology infrastructure. Headquartered in Houston, this high-impact leadership role offers the opportunity to shape and scale enterprise-wide IT operations across a multi-site organization operating throughout the Gulf Coast and beyond. This role is ideal for a Houston-based technology leader with experience supporting industrial or energy-focused operations, and a track record of aligning IT strategy with business growth, enhancing cybersecurity posture, and optimizing distributed IT environments. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a scalable enterprise IT roadmap

aligned with operational and strategic goals, with a focus on infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity, cloud migration, and data integrity. Lead all IT functions , including network architecture, application management, cybersecurity protocols, support services, and systems administration across multiple sites. Oversee project delivery

for enterprise applications, ERP upgrades, field communications, and security systems – ensuring execution on time, on budget, and with measurable business value. Manage the IT budget , ensuring cost optimization while driving investments in systems that enable growth, resiliency, and compliance. Build and lead a high-performing IT team

with an emphasis on accountability, continuous improvement, and business partnership. Ensure compliance

with industry-specific regulations and cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NERC CIP, NIST, ISO 27001). Partner with executive leadership

to identify and deploy new technology that supports operational efficiency, risk mitigation, and scalable growth. Lead vendor selection and contract negotiation , maintaining strong partnerships to deliver on SLAs and service excellence. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree and/or certifications (CISSP, PMP, CISM, etc.) preferred. Minimum of 10 years of progressive IT leadership experience, including 5+ years in a senior role with direct accountability for enterprise systems and cybersecurity. Prior experience in energy, utilities, industrial services, or manufacturing environments highly preferred. Proven ability to lead IT initiatives in dynamic, multi-site organizations—ideally with field-based or plant-level operations. Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, security, cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS), and ERP systems. Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and manage cross-functional teams. Must be based in the

Houston metro area

and willing to travel up to 40% to field locations and operational sites.
