Senior (possibly Staff) Software Engineer

to support their product development needs. This is largely an onsite position (1 day/week from home) so we can only consider qualified candidates who live within a commutable distance to the corporate office (greater San Jose area). Responsibilities Include: As part of a culture of continuous integration, lead software (focus- test and stabilization) for weekly minor and monthly major releases to support clinical testing and R&D feedback. Lead software design verification testing activities, in support of clinical submissions Architect and implement automated test infrastructure wherever possible to increase the rate of product development Qualifications Include: BS or MS in Computer Progamming, or a software-related degree 5+ years of relevant industry (medical device or similar safety critical, regulated industry) Experience with writing SW for complex electromechanical product development (preferably medical device or other regulated industry) Strong Python (C++, RTOS also preferred) knowledge, following software development best practices (unit testing, code review, etc.) Seniority level
