Compensation and Benefits Starting salary of xx - xx per hour depending on experience Stable hours for financial security Access to a stock purchase program Comprehensive healthcare coverage including dental, vision and prescription Paid tuition and scholarships for you and your dependents Company-matched 401(k) Adoption assistance and parent support Hours, Location and Work Environment Monday – Friday day shift with rotating Saturdays Normal work location: landfill facility in Naples, FL Stable hours aimed at providing work-life balance and financial security What You’ll Do Operate heavy equipment (bulldozers, scrapers, front-end loaders) in compliance with safety policies Conduct routine equipment inspections and preventive maintenance; maintain records Move and position raw materials and finished components with material-moving equipment Follow SOPs for operating and maintaining vehicles Perform other duties as assigned What You Need to Be Considered 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment Be over 18 years of age Legally eligible to work in the United States Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical Desired Qualities Ability to work independently and take accountability for safety guidelines Good communication and problem-solving skills Physical Demands and Work Environment Occasionally required to handle objects up to 30 pounds Exposure to dirt, odors, noise, and weather extremes most of the workday Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions These are just a few of the comprehensive benefits for Heavy Equipment Operator II.
