Overview Heavy Equipment Operator role at Signal Energy. This is a field-based, hands-on position in which successful candidates contribute to the construction of a solar field. Location: project site in Krum, Texas. Responsibilities Operate listed heavy equipment to support the mechanical scope of solar field construction: blade, dozer, loader, scraper, roller, backhoe, excavator. Follow prescribed safety regulations and maintain equipment in good working condition. Provide timely documentation of field decisions and reporting, such as Tier Boards and Production Tracking. Skills and Abilities Follow prescribed safety regulations Knowledge of equipment listed above, their appropriate uses, and ability to detect machine malfunctions Perform routine maintenance including lubricating, fueling, and cleaning Understand and apply basic mathematical skills (adding, subtracting, division, multiplication) Read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and load charts Lift 50+ pound equipment and maneuver it into position Conduct repetitive actions (stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching) Stand or walk for extended periods Follow precise instructions and receive feedback Teamwork and collaboration; ability to work well with others and supervisors Demonstrate safety, quality, attendance, punctuality, productivity, and teamwork Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions; exposure to loud noises, dust, debris, and other hazards Education and Experience GED or equivalent Minimum 1 year of experience Equipment certifications as required Current driver’s license with appropriate class and endorsements as required by law Signal Energy is an Equal Opportunity Employer and uses E-Verify. #J-18808-Ljbffr
