KE&G Construction Inc. is a leading heavy-civil contractor in southern Arizona, currently seeking a motivated full-time Heavy Equipment Operator for our Tucson location. Minimum of 5 years of experience in mass earthwork operations and/or heavy-civil construction. GPS experience is a plus. Experience with Motor grader, Loader, Excavator, Scraper, Backhoe, Gannon, and other specialized equipment. Maintain a safe and clean work environment. Pass pre-employment and random drug screenings. Personal Skills: Effective communication skills. Ability to work in a team environment. Ability to lift and carry at least 50 lbs. Physical Demands & Work Environment: Work at construction sites, communicating verbally and reading signs and directions. Ability to lift, push, pull, and handle objects up to 50 lbs; climb stairs/ladders; and navigate various terrains safely. Operate vehicles and machinery following safety guidelines. Work outdoors in all weather conditions, sometimes for extended periods. Exposure to chemicals, pollutants, noise, dust, and moving equipment.
