Saiia Construction Company LLC, a MasTec company, is currently hiring for a Heavy Equipment Operator - GPS Dozer.
The Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, graders, dump trucks, front-end loaders, compactors, scrapers, and water trucks to move materials to and from designated areas. The role also involves participating in required training and ensuring all safety rules, procedures, policies, OSHA, and MSHA regulations are followed.

Responsibilities
Excavator Operation: Operate excavators to dig trenches, transport earth, and utilize GPS grade technology if applicable.
Bulldozer - Grader Operation: Operate bulldozers and graders to level and distribute materials and prepare sites, potentially using GPS technology.
Truck Driving: Operate dump trucks, water trucks, and other vehicles to transport materials and support construction activities.
Scraper/Tractor Operation: Operate scrapers and tractors to move earth and perform grading tasks.
Qualifications
Knowledge of EPA, OSHA, MSHA regulations.
Ability to interpret safety rules, manuals, and instructions.
Proficiency with email, smartphones, tablets, or computers.
Ability to draft routine reports and maintain good attendance.
Meticulous, thorough, and timely work approach.
Physical Requirements
Lift/carry up to 50 lbs., occasionally.
Reach, bend, and manipulate with hands continuously.
Good vision and hearing abilities for safety and communication.
