Job Summary As a Production Worker on the 2nd shift at Abbott Laboratories, you will play a key role in the manufacturing and packaging of high-quality healthcare products. You will operate machinery, perform quality checks, and ensure that production goals are met in a safe and efficient manner. Key Responsibilities Operate and monitor production equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs). Perform routine quality inspections to ensure products meet specifications. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area. Accurately complete production documentation and logs. Follow all safety protocols and report any unsafe conditions or incidents. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production targets. Assist with line changeovers and equipment setups as needed. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred. Ability to read and follow written instructions and SOPs. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed. Preferred Skills Experience in a regulated industry (e.g., FDA, GMP). Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles. Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
