Overview
You will work with teammates in a safe, comfortable, climate‑controlled environment to manufacture parts for large generators. The primary purpose is to build or make parts by creating, forming, and assembling various materials according to blueprints and instructions.
Responsibilities
Inspect parts for quality achievement.
Operate machinery, including setup and adjustments.
Use hand tools for building, forming, bending, punching, grinding, cutting, brazing, buffing, and welding.
Use testing, electrical, and measurement equipment and apply solutions to parts per instructions.
Use appliances such as ovens to bake and cure parts.
Read blueprints, drawings, engineering specifications, and work‑package information to determine required operations.
Follow Siemens Energy policies and procedures.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred (not required). Manufacturing experience is a plus.
Ability to read, write, and understand English instructions, safety signage, and work instructions.
Moderate computer skills.
Good dexterity and coordination for hand‑based tasks.
Strong attention to detail to avoid assembly and quality errors.
Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship (internal transfer possible for visa holders).
