General Manager Responsibilities
Managing costs, building sales, increasing customer base, and store profitability
Leading Team Members in operational excellence and promotion of brand standards
Recruitment, new Team Member training, and scheduling
Providing continuous training and development of Team Members and Management teams
Upholding brand standards and company policies
Serving as operations expert on Domino’s operating standards to maximize productivity
Ensuring consistently high-quality product and service to customers
Ensuring health, safety, and cleanliness standards are upheld
Fostering productive and professional relationships and engaging Team Members
Serving as store mentor and operations expert in all Domino’s store-level roles
Building relationships with customers and community
Handling cash, reconciling, and reporting
Managing inventory control and storage

Reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license, registration, and liability insurance
Ability to pass background investigation and motor vehicle report
1‑2 years of quick‑service restaurant, preferably pizza niche experience
Adaptability, accountability, self‑motivation, and passion for excellent customer service and superior products
Effective training and engaging of Team Members
Commitment to partnership with Human Resources and corporate office to maintain hiring practices and compliance with employment legislation
Experience with inventory control, labor costs, and computer usage
Ability to create and manage Team Member schedules
Ability to perform basic arithmetic accurately and quickly
Strong verbal, written, and telephone communication skills
Motor coordination for rapid, accurate movements
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
Comfort with proprietary software systems—PULSE and PWR
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
Telephone talking and hearing abilities
Near and mid‑range vision sufficient for most in‑store tasks
Depth perception
Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces
Ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, and analyze data for decisions
Ability to stand for long periods of time; most tasks performed standing
Physical Requirements Standing : Most tasks are performed from a standing position. Walking surfaces include ceramic tile or linoleum in some food process areas. Height of work surfaces ranges between 36” and 48”.
Short‑distance walking : For short distances and durations.
Delivery duties : Traveling between the store and delivery vehicle and to customer locations.
Sitting : Paperwork normally completed at a desk or table.
Lifting : Bulk product deliveries unloaded by the team member using a hand truck. Deliveries may include cases up to 50 pounds. Cases often lifted from floor to shelves up to 72” high.
Carrying : Large cans, pizza sauce, trays of dough, and products during delivery.
Pushing : Moving trays placed on dollies; force required up to 7.5 pounds.
Climbing : Infrequent navigation of stairs or ladders for maintenance or sign changes; during delivery may involve five or more flights of stairs.
Stooping / Bending : Forward bending at the waist for pizza assembly; repeated continuously.
Crouching / Squatting : Occasional, to stock shelves or clean low areas.
Reaching : Continuously up, down, and forward. Above 72” occasionally for oven controls, sign changes, shelf tasks. Downwards for material handling and washing dishes. Forward when obtaining toppings or answering phones.
Driving : Deliver pizzas within a designated area; may make several deliveries per shift. Valid driver’s license with safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle.
