Senior Employee Benefits (Health & Benefits) Sales Professional
Location: Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, San Francisco, or Irvine. This hybrid role requires working in the office at least three days a week.
Mercer is looking for a talented individual to join our Health and Benefits Sales team.
Responsibilities
Apply highly developed market and internal service offering insights to sales cold calls, engaging potential clients, generating interest, and scheduling meetings or presentations.
Create sales proposals, presentations, and RFP responses that creatively and effectively address complex prospect needs, communicating the business value of internal services and offerings.
Lead complex sales processes from identification to closing, including pricing negotiations, facilitating product and expectation discussions, and securing beneficial financial outcomes for the business.
Qualifications
BA/BS degree.
Strong track record of achieving sales goals.
Experience selling to companies in the 100–5,000 employee benefit space.
Experiential knowledge of the Employee Benefits or Health and Benefits consulting industry and products.
Strong network and ability to gain access to C‑suite level executives.

Salary The applicable base salary range for this role is $97,000 to $194,500. Base pay is determined by experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Performance‑based incentives may also apply.
