Impact of a Sr. Value Assurance Director The Sr. Value Assurance Director is the preeminent expert dedicated to safeguarding and maximizing the realized financial and operational value for our most strategic, high‑stakes customers. This strategic individual contributor role acts as the ultimate point of executive‑level expertise and action for the company’s most critical value‑at‑risk scenarios. The architect operates as a general manager over cross‑functional resources, personally owning the most complex and ambiguous customer escalations where the perception of value and return on investment has been compromised. Reporting to the VP, Value Assurance, this role directly protects hundreds of millions in revenue, solidifies customer loyalty, and translates systemic issues into executive‑level product and process improvements.

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage and lead cross‑functional resources to resolve complex customer escalations and safeguard company revenue.

Serve as executive‑level point of contact for high‑stakes customers, providing strategic guidance and value assessment.

Translate systemic customer issues into product and process improvements within Coupa.

Own the end‑to‑end resolution of value‑at‑risk scenarios, ensuring optimal return on investment for customers.

Qualifications

Extensive experience in value assurance, consulting, or customer success leadership roles.

Strong understanding of financial and operational value delivery within SaaS or enterprise software environments.

Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage complex escalations.

Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills at executive level.
