The
Network Director of Advanced Clinical Recruitment
provides strategic leadership for the physician and provider recruitment function across WMCHealth. This role is responsible for developing and executing a high‑impact recruitment strategy that attracts top medical and advanced practice talent to support WMCHealth’s mission, vision, values, and clinical growth goals. The Director serves as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to executive, operational, and clinical leadership, ensuring an integrated and data‑driven approach to workforce planning, sourcing, and onboarding of providers. Reports to VP, Workforce Development and Planning.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive provider recruitment strategy that aligns with network growth priorities, clinical program development, and community needs.
Build and maintain strong partnerships with executive, physician, and operational leadership to forecast and address short‑and long‑term provider workforce needs.
Translate organizational goals into actionable recruitment plans with measurable outcomes related to time‑to‑fill, retention, and provider satisfaction.
Lead a high‑performing team responsible for physician and provider recruitment, ensuring consistent delivery of best‑in‑class service across the Network.
Design and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and metrics to evaluate recruitment effectiveness and return on investment.
Leverage technology, market intelligence, and sourcing analytics to drive continuous improvement in recruitment efficiency and quality of hires.
Ensure recruitment practices comply with applicable laws, accreditation standards, and WMCHealth policies.
Serve as the primary liaison between recruitment and senior leadership, medical group administration, and hospital executives to coordinate recruitment priorities and outcomes.
Foster a collaborative culture with internal stakeholders, aligning provider recruitment strategies with credentialing, onboarding, workforce analytics, and retention initiatives.
Establish strong relationships with external partners including residency programs, professional associations, and community networks to build robust talent pipelines.
Manage the department budget, vendor contracts, and recruitment marketing initiatives to ensure optimal allocation of resources.
Evaluate vendor and agency performance to ensure alignment with WMCHealth quality and cost standards.
Lead special projects and initiatives designed to strengthen provider workforce sustainability and enhance WMCHealth’s reputation as an employer of choice.
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of high‑volume physician and provider recruitment experience in a large organization, including experience with an applicant tracking system and 5 years of prior management experience. (Required)
Experience in healthcare. (Required)
Bachelor’s degree required.
Master’s degree preferred.
License(s) and certification(s) not specified.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, team building, and decision‑making skills; ability to demonstrate a proactive customer‑service approach in a fast‑paced environment with deadlines.
