Responsibilities

Coordinate EDI activities between IT, business teams and EDI managed service providers.

Create and maintain EDI transaction mapping specifications and guidelines.

Configure EDI related objects within an SAP environment (partner profiles, output, etc.).

Monitor SAP IDOC failures, troubleshoot, and deliver solutions to address root causes.

Coordinate and perform in‑depth testing, including unit, integration and user acceptance.

Support EDI incoming/outgoing transactions for all internal/external trading partners and business teams.

Participate in SAP ECC & AS400 to SAP S/4 HANA migration workshops related to EDI.

Review, analyze and evaluate EDI trading partner requirements in alignment with internal/external user needs for process improvements, upgrades, system implementation/enhancement, and issue resolution.

Document and report on execution of EDI development and testing for new transactions and partners.

Participate in design and implementation of new applications and integration strategies related to EDI.

Develop and maintain standardized, repeatable processes for all development and deployment activities related to EDI.

Perform SAP ERP system configuration, mapping and management for EDI‑based transactions and processes.

Monitor EDI support mailbox(s) daily and resolve issues within a timely manner as a single point of contact.

Requirements Education

Bachelor’s degree is required.

A major in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field is required.

Experience

6+ years in a large‑scale, enterprise environment for EDI set‑up, configuration, and monitoring is required.

5+ years providing EDI support in multiple functional areas (ex: Order‑To‑Cash, Supply Chain Execution, etc.) is required.

Food industry and/or consumer packaged goods experience preferred.

Certifications and specific knowledge

Knowledge of SAP ECC environment EDI support and set‑up is required.

Knowledge of SAP output types and IDOC types related to sales orders, order confirmations, shipments, invoices, purchase orders, etc. is required.

Knowledge of EDI managed service providers (ex: SPS, Cleo, etc.) is required.

Knowledge of EDI transactions related to Order‑To‑Cash and supply chain execution is required.

Knowledge of connectivity protocols such as AS2 (HTTP/HTTPS), SFTP/FTP, etc. required.

Knowledge of integration points with SAP modules such as Order‑To‑Cash (OTC), supply chain execution, procure‑to‑pay processes is required.

Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA environment EDI support and set‑up is preferred.

Knowledge of Cleo Integration Cloud for integration and development is a plus.

Knowledge of Gentran is a plus.

Knowledge of support ticket and project management applications is required.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.

Salary: $120,000 - $140,000
